I Broke My Veg Day for 4 Chapati at Tiger Jit. 1:0, Day 2.0

4 Chapati with dhal on center, curry chicken on the right side. With veg to balance and water to cool down.

The Quick Review:
What: 4 homemade bantal chapati + veg curry + cauliflower fry + chicken curry + water
Where: Tiger Jit, Pudu KL
Cost: RM28 ~ SGD$8.80
Verdict: 10/10 chapati. 6/10 stomach 😂

I Was Supposed to Eat Veg Today Clean. Light. Routine. But I’m in KL till tomorrow. Tiger Jit was 10 mins away. So I listened to my craving instead.

Why Tiger Jit Hits Different

Tiger Jit doesn’t play safe.

Chapati is thick, soft, warm. Like a bantal. Twice the size of SG ones.

Chicken curry is pekat. Real Malaysian heat. Soaks up curry without falling apart.

RM28. Pricey for KL. One-time eat for me. But I get why it’s packed.

1000313915

Lavanya can wait for couple of hours.

Final Score 4 chapati, 0 regrets.

Tiger Jit chapati is better than SG chapati.

Brickfields Calling MK: Come Over & Feast- The Weekend Buzz

So this weekend I’m down for Bombay Talkies Restaurant located at Brickfields in Kualar Lumpur. Well most importantly is Lavanya Food which has more variety options.

I fell in love with vada Pav since I visited Mumbai. Light snack yet delicious 🤤. But I’m down for some vegetarian food for Saturday so Butter paneer masala be good with some chapati.

Just look at the menu. I’m hungry already 😂, maybe I shall have the vada Pav and consider the bhendi masala as well. It’s always good to balance and take walks after meal.

“March 2027: Shimla, The Mountains and Nature Calls for MK”

It’s July 2026 and I’m already dreaming about March 2027: Shimla 🏔️Ipoh ✅ KL ✅ Shimla… loading. I guess I’m just that person who lives for the next trip high.

Most people don’t plan a year ahead. But for me, half the fun is the daydreams — picturing myself sipping hot chai on Mall Road, breathing in pine-scented air, and trading city noise for mountain silence.

2026 was all about city adrenaline. Thrill Karts, street food, and “see you next time Ipoh” airport goodbyes ✈️ 2027?

My soul wants something different. Slower mornings, green valleys, and that crisp mountain air.

This is more than just ticking places off a list. I’m collecting experiences and stories for http://mktravels.site.

From city lights to pine trees. From traffic to trails. Nature is calling for MK. And I’m answering.

Day 4: The Short Yet Perfect Goodbye 👋🫂

Last day in Ipoh and I’m already nostalgic.I’ll miss the Miners House reading lounge. The beanbags, the quiet, the ceiling fan. Where I wrote most of this blog.

I’ll miss the morning rush to the temple and cave. Up the stairs before the heat, ❤️ pounding, but worth every step.Ipoh, you were short but you were super good.

To end Day 3: I went for a relaxing full body massage at the Oriental Spa. Cheaper and very nice massage I had. I almost 😴 during the session 😂.

Day 3: Perak Tong & Nasi Ganja Food Adventure In Ipoh With MK.

Perak Tong Cave Temple |poh, Perak

Morning, chanting, and a view worth every step. The best time to visit is in the morning. This was my first time to be impressed.

The artwork on the walls, the giant Buddha inside the cave, the quiet — it’s very impressive.

Climbing with intention hits different.

I chanted, prayed with both hands, and set my goal before going up. Body was tired. Spirit wasn’t.

The climb wasn’t as bad as Borobudur in Jogja. But the energy here?

Just as sacred. It got slippery near the cliff. And the cool breeze was hitting me from all sides 😂

Just a few more steps to the peak.

Thank god there was shade and a bench. Sat there, cooled down, then started the walk back down.

The energy here makes me feel light and free.

I came for more than a getaway.

To stay open. To stay grounded on this earth.

MK with arms open like wings standing under a pavilion at Perak Tong Cave Temple

I’ve always wanted to live a life of adventure.

Surprisingly, what I sought was seeking me.

It was never easy.

But the writing, the excitement, and these experiences…

That’s what I love about being a traveler and blogger.

Being here right in the moment made me feel happy, free, and light. #BornFreeNow,

to fuel that freedom: Nasi Ganja.

Langkawi Day 3: Activities

In the morning I took a walk to the nearby roti canai store which was very satisfying. They served mutton curry which was 😋.

By 1 PM. I was hungry again the best part was having a food place just right next to my hotel Say Haa Inn. As it was cheap, affordable and delicious too.

They had a variety of dishes which welcomed many locals to dine in.

Day 2 In Ipoh: Watputhanmttam to – Late Night Biryani Bukhara Chicken Tom Yum Soup 😋

A Slow burner as I had Waffles and Coffee for breakfast. I made myself out to the Watputhanmttam Thai Temple.

It was a huge surprise for me, I felt like I was re-centered back again in India 😂.

Morning Second Round; The Food Hunt Continues: Kedai Kopi Ah Chow

Second round of Curry Mee 😁 it’s one of the well known eateries in Ipoh. Was very full so I went over to Ipoh parade mall to jalan — Burn the calories before I head back to the Miners.

Day 2 Midnight Soup Run; Restoran Nasi Briyani Bukhara.

I woke up late. Still before midnight. Stepped out of the room to brush up, and the cool crisp air hit me. Mid-toothbrush, my brain went: soup. So I followed it.

The Aftermath of Dinner. Jalan in the Pasar Malam- The Adventure Still Continues.

I was quite full due to the bean sprouts 😋. Decided to take a stroll and get some essentials since it’s cheaper 😁

Day 1: Jalan lah MK,The Ipoh Adventure Continues..

As I landed in Ipoh. I started feeling some jittery from my foot til my skin on my arms like a static shock 😂. Maybe it’s the excitement as it’s my first time in Ipoh.

While in the plane listening to Hanuman chalisa. I saw two episodes of 2 Broke Girl$ on prime. Just about 50mins from KL, isn’t that cool?

Saw a good deal from Booking.com and it is the best location and price was just right too.

After keeping my bagpack I was browsing and researching on Google on what to eat for dinner I was hoping for the Ngah Choi Gai – Bean Sprout Chicken. As I saw on Best Food in Ipoh: Famous Ipoh Hor Fun, White Coffee, Snacks and Food Factories.

Unfortunately the two Onn Kee Chicken rice was closed even though it has 2 restaurants just opposite of each other. So I had to slowly see for other shops til I witnessed a few good one’s.

I was just satisfied as I had the opportunity to enjoy the crunchiest Bean sprouts 😋 it’s one of my favorites as well as it’s well known in Ipoh.

I was glad as the next door had chendol which is also a not to be missed especially when it’s 🥵 ☀️ day. Stay Tuned for more;

1000311183

The best part of living at the Miners House was the cost of the whole stay only cost me 183.90MYR which is only $57.90 which also includes free breakfast and it’s very convenient to get grab to reach most places.

“Why Carl Jung Called Documenters Dangerous: Memory, Narcissism and Toxic Family “

Introduction

Carl Jung admitted something most therapists won’t say out loud:

Patients with sharp memory who document their experiences made him uncomfortable.

He called them “dangerous.”

At first I thought that was strange. Why would remembering be dangerous?

Then I healed alone after leaving a toxic family dynamic.

And I understood.

Because when you write it down, you can’t be manipulated anymore.

When you remember the pattern, you can’t be gaslit anymore.

Documentation turns “maybe it was me” into “here’s what happened.”

That’s why it’s dangerous. To the lie. To the system. To the cycle.

1. What Jung Meant by “Dangerous”

For Jung, the unconscious thrives in vagueness.

In “I don’t remember.” In “it wasn’t that bad.” In “you’re overthinking.”

Sharp memory + documentation drags it into the light.

1.  Proof breaks denial: “That never happened” becomes “March 12, 8:43pm.”

2.  Proof breaks rewriting:”You’re too sensitive” becomes “Here’s the text.”

3.  Proof breaks amnesia: The family story gets challenged by your record.

Light is uncomfortable. For the patient, because it’s real.

For the therapist, because they can’t hide behind theory.

For the system, because it can’t pretend anymore.

Jung wasn’t scared of the patient. He was scared of what truth does once it’s documented.

2. Why This Terrifies Narcissistic Family Systems

Narcissistic dynamics run on 3 rules:

1.  Gaslighting: “You’re remembering it wrong. That didn’t happen.”

2.  Selective Amnesia: The family only tells the good parts. The bad gets deleted.

3.  Control of the Narrative: Whoever speaks last decides what’s true.

When you document with a sharp memory, you break all 3.

You have the text. The date. The pattern. The way your body felt.

You have proof that it wasn’t “just a joke” or “you’re too dramatic.”

That’s why they call you “difficult.” “Holding grudges.” “Negative.

You’re not.

You’re just dangerous to the lie they need to keep.

3. The Uncomfortable Truth Jung Faced

The documented patient forces everyone to look.

The therapist can’t say “let’s move on” when there’s a record.

The family can’t say “that was years ago” when you remember the pattern.

The system can’t say “keep the peace” when peace meant silence.

Documentation makes healing real. And real is messy.

It means accountability. It means boundaries. It means endings.

No wonder Jung felt uncomfortable. Truth always is, before it sets you free.

4. How I Used This After Leaving

I didn’t have a perfect journal.

I had boundaries. And I had memory.

Every time I said: My happiness and self-respect come first— that was documentation.

Every time I noticed: this is the same pattern as last time — that was documentation.

Every time I chose not to explain myself for the 10th time — that was documentation.

I became “dangerous” not by fighting.

I became dangerous by remembering.

By refusing to forget what happened just to keep the peace.

Closing: Becoming “Dangerously Aware”

You don’t need to publish a book. You don’t need to confront everyone.

You just need to stop letting them edit your reality.

The “Dangerously Aware” Framework:

1.  Record: What happened. Facts only. Date, words, actions.

2.  Pattern:What is this? Narcissism? Manipulation? Guilt?

3.  Protect: What boundary keeps me safe next time? One less explanation. One pause. One no.

Jung was right.

A person with memory + documentation can’t be controlled.

We don’t document to hurt people.

We document so we stop hurting ourselves by forgetting.

“That’s why we’re dangerous. And that’s why we heal.”
