“March 2027: Shimla, The Mountains and Nature Calls for MK”

It’s July 2026 and I’m already dreaming about March 2027: Shimla πŸ”οΈIpoh βœ… KL βœ… Shimla… loading. I guess I’m just that person who lives for the next trip high.

Most people don’t plan a year ahead. But for me, half the fun is the daydreams β€” picturing myself sipping hot chai on Mall Road, breathing in pine-scented air, and trading city noise for mountain silence.

2026 was all about city adrenaline. Thrill Karts, street food, and β€œsee you next time Ipoh” airport goodbyes ✈️ 2027?

My soul wants something different. Slower mornings, green valleys, and that crisp mountain air.

This is more than just ticking places off a list. I’m collecting experiences and stories for http://mktravels.site.

From city lights to pine trees. From traffic to trails. Nature is calling for MK. And I’m answering.

Day 4: The Short Yet Perfect Goodbye πŸ‘‹πŸ«‚

Last day in Ipoh and I’m already nostalgic.I’ll miss the Miners House reading lounge. The beanbags, the quiet, the ceiling fan. Where I wrote most of this blog.

I’ll miss the morning rush to the temple and cave. Up the stairs before the heat, ❀️ pounding, but worth every step.Ipoh, you were short but you were super good.

Day 3: Perak Tong & Nasi Ganja Food Adventure In Ipoh With MK.

Perak Tong Cave Temple |poh, Perak

Morning, chanting, and a view worth every step. The best time to visit is in the morning. This was my first time to be impressed.

The artwork on the walls, the giant Buddha inside the cave, the quiet β€” it’s very impressive.

Climbing with intention hits different.

I chanted, prayed with both hands, and set my goal before going up. Body was tired. Spirit wasn’t.

The climb wasn’t as bad as Borobudur in Jogja. But the energy here?

Just as sacred. It got slippery near the cliff. And the cool breeze was hitting me from all sides πŸ˜‚

Just a few more steps to the peak.

Thank god there was shade and a bench. Sat there, cooled down, then started the walk back down.

The energy here makes me feel light and free.

I came for more than a getaway.

To stay open. To stay grounded on this earth.

I’ve always wanted to live a life of adventure.

Surprisingly, what I sought was seeking me.

It was never easy.

But the writing, the excitement, and these experiences…

That’s what I love about being a traveler and blogger.

Being here right in the moment made me feel happy, free, and light. #BornFreeNow,

to fuel that freedom: Nasi Ganja.

Langkawi Day 3: Activities

In the morning I took a walk to the nearby roti canai store which was very satisfying. They served mutton curry which was πŸ˜‹.

By 1 PM. I was hungry again the best part was having a food place just right next to my hotel Say Haa Inn. As it was cheap, affordable and delicious too.

They had a variety of dishes which welcomed many locals to dine in.

Day 2 In Ipoh: Watputhanmttam to – Late Night Biryani Bukhara Chicken Tom Yum Soup πŸ˜‹

A Slow burner as I had Waffles and Coffee for breakfast. I made myself out to the Watputhanmttam Thai Temple.

It was a huge surprise for me, I felt like I was re-centered back again in India πŸ˜‚.

Morning Second Round; The Food Hunt Continues: Kedai Kopi Ah Chow

Second round of Curry Mee 😁 it’s one of the well known eateries in Ipoh. Was very full so I went over to Ipoh parade mall to jalan — Burn the calories before I head back to the Miners.

Day 2 Midnight Soup Run; Restoran Nasi Briyani Bukhara.

I woke up late. Still before midnight. Stepped out of the room to brush up, and the cool crisp air hit me. Mid-toothbrush, my brain went: soup. So I followed it.

The Aftermath of Dinner. Jalan in the Pasar Malam- The Adventure Still Continues.

I was quite full due to the bean sprouts πŸ˜‹. Decided to take a stroll and get some essentials since it’s cheaper 😁

Day 1: Jalan lah MK,The Ipoh Adventure Continues..

As I landed in Ipoh. I started feeling some jittery from my foot til my skin on my arms like a static shock πŸ˜‚. Maybe it’s the excitement as it’s my first time in Ipoh.

While in the plane listening to Hanuman chalisa. I saw two episodes of 2 Broke Girl$ on prime. Just about 50mins from KL, isn’t that cool?

Saw a good deal from Booking.com and it is the best location and price was just right too.

After keeping my bagpack I was browsing and researching on Google on what to eat for dinner I was hoping for the Ngah Choi Gai – Bean Sprout Chicken. As I saw on Best Food in Ipoh: Famous Ipoh Hor Fun, White Coffee, Snacks and Food Factories.

Unfortunately the two Onn Kee Chicken rice was closed even though it has 2 restaurants just opposite of each other. So I had to slowly see for other shops til I witnessed a few good one’s.

I was just satisfied as I had the opportunity to enjoy the crunchiest Bean sprouts πŸ˜‹ it’s one of my favorites as well as it’s well known in Ipoh.

I was glad as the next door had chendol which is also a not to be missed especially when it’s πŸ₯΅ β˜€οΈ day. Stay Tuned for more;

The best part of living at the Miners House was the cost of the whole stay only cost me 183.90MYR which is only $57.90 which also includes free breakfast and it’s very convenient to get grab to reach most places.

Ipoh to MK – Eat, Jalan & Explore The Unseen

Super excited for the upcoming trip to Ipoh Malaysia. Been always a passion for travel and trying different foods πŸ˜€.

Hor Fun, Coffee, chendol and lots of other variety of foods and not forgetting my Chia Seeds too.

The best part of the trip is the time management skills which I had been using ever since I worked as a Security professional.

Managing two units and as I’m on a term break I shall explore and pamper myself for the 4 days in two weeks time.

Finance law unit can wait, experience and blogs are not to be missed. Exclusive yet I need to be consistent.

Hotel booked, ✈️ awaiting my check-in. Bag pack standby πŸ˜€. Chendol a not to be missed. Well let’s hope it doesn’t 🌧️.

Chennai To MK Part 2

I enjoyed a nice evening as it was about 7pm local time. I took a slow walk to capture more images and experience in the heart of Chennai.

The streets are filled with retailers and restaurants. Cash is πŸ‘‘. Visa surely it’s acceptable but it’s best to carry some petty cash if you’re out for some snacks and shopping.
