In June I will be taking a break again. This time it’s a bus ride, music and the journey. Since I am fond of eating and trying different foods I shall explore further.

I booked Hotel Westree KL Sentral for June because it’s right on top of KL Sentral Station.

After you witness the experiences I share, it will leave your mouth watering and be craving for the foods and dishes 😋 😂

As I start my day I was looking forward to swim at the beach. I was so glad because it was not as crowded. I took a slow walk as it wasn’t as near but it’s a good thing to burn some of calories.

There wasn’t many people but the view and the ☀️ was perfect for me to swim and cool off.

I had placed my belongings right center and was glad that it was safe.

What didn’t work – Kata Beach in February felt like a KL weekend. Packed sand, vendors everywhere, and a real struggle to find space to sit.

What still worked: Even with the crowds, it was a good time well spent. The water was calm, the weather was perfect, and being there with friends made up for the lack of space.*Plan better next time.

Next time I’ll pick a quieter, more laid-back beach. I love swimming and being by the sea, just not with a crowd.

November 2025, my birthday week. I had online lessons to clear before exams. Perfect excuse to get away and clear my head. Work still happened with a few meetings, but I also had time to unwind by the beach and swim.

This place is outstanding as it is very peaceful and I love the bed’s. Say-Haa-Inn well aside from the long walk to the beach it’s a 5/5 for me.

Late November 2025 I escaped to Langkawi for my birthday — perfect timing since my boss was pushing me to take leave 😒

February 2026 I flew to Phuket a short unpleasant time but not bad for the start.

April I visited Yogyakarta, Indonesia for a fun filling to both Borobudor and Prambanan Temple with my 00:00 tattoos. Ended with a relaxing massage

May: Mumbai + Chennai— Vada pav, bhel puri, Coffee, dosa, idli sambar… I started the year with the heavy hitters 🔥Updated hunt.

June: Rested and relaxing while WFH.

July: Ipoh – Food, Caves, Outdoor adventure
August: Brickfields, Malaysia. Well I live to Eat!!

September: Prolly head back to Georgetown, Penang as I miss the 🍺 and might plan for some good food.

October: Udaipur + Jaipur, India: Most anticipated and exciting for me to explore the glorious spots.

November: Chiang Mai, nature, culture and food. New spot for me to relax over my birthday weekend.

December: Undisclosed location;

As I woke up realizing that it’s the last day of me being in Chennai. I help myself with some hot ginger tea before I get some Dosa. Soft and sweet, with the curries and most important is the coconut chutney 😋 one of my favorites.

The people are waiting for the breakfast also some are waiting to order food. The street sign is facing the tea store and it’s one of the best as well.

Despite the Thosai back at Singapore & Malaysia is bigger but the taste of having it from it’s origins is another level of excitement.

It was warm and I was just wondering what to eat for dinner. I planned for self treat by having Pani Puri at The Geeta Cafe.

After a while I went back to get myself the waffles with Rocky Road ice cream 😋 😂.

Took a good walk as I met a few interesting people who were trying to sell different items.

It’s a good spot for everyone from sarees to dress and apparels. Handbags, budget and those branded like Levi’s etc.

It was about 5 pm. I slowly took a stroll as I was full and needed more contents as well. I also saw a roadside bookstore which caught my attention.

The god images and painting was nice but what even amused me was the artist drawing pictures of common people.

How amazing and calm life is. The 🐕 is just minding its own business and taking a 😴. That’s a dog living the best life.

To end the night I had dinner at T Nagar Bhai Kadai and I had Chia Seeds with warm water to relax my digestion.

So it was ☀️ Saturday I decided to leave early for the temple first as I can’t walk barefoot and luckily I wore socks. Thankfully I left early as I had time to kill before I board my flight back to home.

Caught Mortal Kombat 2 at PVR Chennai and I had to share the experience. Fights and that classic MK vibe on the big screen.

Took Uber to VR Chennai mall and I walked up to level 3. The security was tight as no outside foods or snacks are allowed except mineral water.

There was a prequel to Kitana childhood. Karl Urban who acted as Johnny Cage was what I was looking for. All actors did well including Shao Kang the tall giant freak 😂.

I was looking forward to dinner — I love chapatis, and I fell in love with the spicy chicken curry 🤤😋.

Right across from T Nagar Bhai Kadai was a kulfi stand, so I grabbed a chocolate kulfi to cool off the heat. The heat was not as bad compared to Mumbai 😂.

I took a walk after as I felt full and needed to burn some calories. To hunt for vegetarian options and saw many clothing and shoes stores too.

I have had Bhel Puri in Mumbai. Today I shall pamper myself as light snack before I head to the movies at PVR Chennai.

Everything is walkable and it’s nice to explore and experience the life in Chennai. The common people are able to speak simple English which makes it easy for me.

It was mouth watering as I ate one by one. 5 pieces and I took one of my favorite snack Kaiju barfi 😋.
